Big Hornby tank is the star of charity demo
Last Friday, I attended Hazel Grove & District Model Railway Society for an evening's demonstration of weathering and airbrushing techniques. I thoroughly enjoyed it and employed this Hornby model as the basis for a thorough weathering project. Using a mix of acrylic and enamel paints, plus weathering powders and a wee bit of varnish, it took a couple of hours to complete (although I've only treated one side and the front end so far!).
Anyway, thanks to everyone who attended the evening, where we managed to raise £236 for Wood Street Mission. Great stuff!
