DIESEL DEPOT ILLUMINATED

The Hornby MPD has been equipped with an impressive set of 3D printed floodlights, from Scale Model Scenery. They look really at home on the outer corners of the depot and the bright white glow is redolent of modern industrial lighting. They were incredibly easy to install and wire-up, running off a 12V DC supply, via a cased Gaugemaster transformer. Supplied in packs of 6, they're great value and are perfect for all manner of industrial premises. There's also an option of orange LEDs instead, for the more traditional sodium-style of lighting.

Now that the depot is illuminated externally, it really needs some interior lights, so that's a job for the near future. Look out for a full installation demo of these floodlights in the next issue of Model Rail magazine, MR259, on sale 14th March.
