PERCY

Tasked with photographing and reviewing Bachmann's new 'OO' gauge Class 90, I had some 'help' from my furry chum Percy during the studio shoot. Ever-willing to assist with photography, the little chap helped me to test the light levels, selflessly offering himself as a model subject (which he often does - what a guy!). Indeed, he even sat on top of the Class 90 at one point, clearly in an effort to protect it from some unseen threat. Thankfully, the pantograph survived this intervention and, after taking plenty of portrait shots, Percy announced that everything was ready and made off to his latest favourite bed, which this month comes courtesy of Heljan - he's definitely a lover of 'O' gauge packaging, especially foam-lined boxes. The Class 37 box, in particular, gets Percy's coveted seal of approval...
