FORECOURT SHOPS

One of my practical projects for an upcoming Model Rail feature demands a row of archetypal shop frontages, so I've built a couple of 'OO' gauge Wills kits. Branded as Station Forecourt Shops, each pack provides a handful of plastic parts to create a facade for two units. The builder is then left to add side and rear walls (exterior and interior), floor and roof, as desired.

After building the facades, some Wills brick and batten sheets were cut to form the end walls and roof respectively. Interior walls were cut roughly from thick plastic sheet, with reinforcing fillets (Wills again) glued into place.

The result is a very handsome row of shops, which now have to be painted and filled with a range of businesses.
